Drag and Drop
Images
You can drag and drop images directly into a note from your Desktop or anywhere on your filesystem. Pasting images works as well.
Images appear inline in the editor and are stored automatically alongside the note in a folder generated for you. You don’t need to manage image files manually.
Notes
Notes can be moved freely between journals and folders.
To move a note, drag it from the note list (the middle column) and drop it onto any journal or folder in the sidebar.
When you move a note, all of its associated images move with it automatically. You never end up with broken image links or orphaned files.
What Happens Behind the Scenes
- Each note has its own image folder stored next to the Markdown file
- Images are kept in sync with the note at all times
- Moving a note also moves its image folder to the new location
This means you can reorganise your notes as much as you like without worrying about losing or breaking embedded media.
