Which Bin is an iOS app for Guildford Borough residents that shows which bins to put out, and when — based on your location.

No. The app works without registration. Just allow location access and it fetches your bin schedule.

It uses your phone's GPS to find your postcode, then looks up your collection dates from Guildford's official data.

Yes. Your location and postcode are only used on your device. Nothing is stored or shared with anyone.

Not yet. The app currently supports only the Borough of Guildford — but more areas may be added in future. See map for covered areas which include GU1, GU2, GU3, GU4, parts of GU5, GU7, GU8, GU10, GU12, GU16, GU23 and GU24.

You can join the TestFlight beta now, or add yourself to the waiting list for public release.

I will consider creating an Android version of the app if there is sufficient user demand.
